At GK M.O.T. & Tachograph Centre in Shrewsbury, we provide comprehensive workshop services backed by expert knowledge, state-of-the-art equipment, and a highly skilled team to keep your vehicle performing at its best.

Established in 2002, our family-run garage combines years of experience with modern equipment to provide reliable and competitively priced repairs and maintenance.

Our workshop features five service bays, including three 2-post ramps and one 4-post ramp, allowing us to handle a wide variety of vehicles and jobs efficiently. We also have two dedicated MOT bays, both equipped to handle classes 4, 5, and 7 tests. One MOT bay is a pit and the other a ramp, each fitted with Snap-on MOT and diagnostics equipment to ensure thorough and accurate inspections.

Our team consists of three full-time technicians, supported by an office receptionist, all led by Simon, our experienced General Manager. Together, they bring extensive knowledge and a customer-focused approach to every job, ensuring honest advice and quality workmanship. We specialise in MOT testing, servicing, tachograph inspections, and repairs, offering comprehensive solutions for commercial and private vehicles alike.

The workshop also offers BE (Brake Efficiency) testing, updates OSRs (On-Board Service Records), and strictly follows manufacturer service schedules using Autodata. We fit only OE parts during servicing, ensuring warranty compliance and peace of mind.

Customer comfort is important to us, which is why we provide a welcoming reception area and customer toilets. Our large yard offers ample parking, making visits hassle-free. Plus, for those using public transport, there’s a bus stop conveniently located nearby.
